Instructions for changing the roll sensor on the Cyclic base.

Change from the old glued version to the new inserted version.
In the exchange set are 2 shells for the Hall sensor and a carrier element.
The Hall sensor A1302 has 2 chamfered corners, after soldering the Hall sensor to its 3-pole cable, this side is inserted into the shell with the position nose.
Place the other shellpart and then gently insert this socket with the encoder into the carrier. The fit is quite tight and creates slight rattling noises during insertion.
Thus, the carrier is prepared for installation.
In order for the carrier to be installed in the base, all dampers must be released.
Then remove the 6 M3 screws of the carrier from the base and unscrew the aluminum T bearing block from the pitch shaft (SW 3).
Do not lose the thin ring between bearing and bearing block.
Now the carrier can be pulled from the base and from the pitch shaft.
Press half the hexagon connectors with an M3 screw and a sleeve in a vice to the back of the carrier (magnetic bearing).
Place the new support element with the new sensor and push the connectors back in again.
Insert the bearing and push the carrier back onto the shaft.
Observe the position of the magnetic wheel so that the zero position of the roller axle is again centered.

For the longitudinally mounted sensor, the two printed halves must "only" be separated slightly. With a little distance between the 2 shells, the sensor can be changed easily.
Do not pull the sensor from the socket by the cable, this would lead to broken connections.
